Personal Support Worker’s (PSW) provide care to person(s) who require personal assistance with activities of daily living. They may also provide additional care as delegated by an Regulated Health Professional as needed and when it can be performed safely and within Provincial legislation.
The Registered Practical Nurse demonstrates competence at the current level of knowledge for his or her practice, seeks help and guidance when unable to perform competently, refrains from practicing beyond his or her competence, and is accountable for his or her own practice.
